The department of family and community medicine in Las Vegas at the University of Nevada School of Medicine is committed to community outreach and fostering a supportive atmosphere. We offer an exciting residency program as well as welcome diverse physicians into our fellowship program. The department of family and community medicine also encompasses a clinic which sees more than 11,000 outpatient visits per year and administers the Radiation Exposure Screening and Education Program that provides medical screening for qualified individuals.
It is the goal of family and community medicine to provide quality medical education in order to best serve Nevada's diverse population in improving healthcare. We have a group of full-time, family medicine trained faculty to help teach students and care for families in our communities.
