The Department of Family and Community Medicine, Las Vegas at the University of Nevada School of Medicine is committed to community outreach and fostering a supportive atmosphere around primary care.
We offer an exciting residency program as well as welcome diverse physicians into our fellowship program.
The family and community medicine department also includes a patient clinic which sees more than 11,000 outpatient primary care visits a year. It also administers the Radiation Exposure Screening and Education Program that provides medical screening for qualified patients.
It is the goal of the department to provide quality medical education to best serve Nevada's diverse population in improving healthcare.
We have a group of full-time, family medicine trained faculty to help teach students and care for families in our communities.
The Nevada Radiation Exposure Screening and Education Program offers medical services to qualified individuals.
